Abstract:Recently, the tensor nuclear norm (TNN) is suggested to capture the intrinsic structures of third-order tensor data, where Fourier transform is the key building block under this classical multi-linear algebra framework. Following the line of transform, we will review the recent progress of the transform-based tensor nuclear norm in this talk. We will also discuss the limitations, extensions, and future possibilities of the transform-based tensor nuclear norm.
