Abstract:Recently, The MDS self-dual codes with varieties of length have been constructed via generalized RS codes and extended GRS codes based on the fundamental results given by Jin-Xing and Yan respectively.In this talk we present an unified approach to restate some known constructions with simplified proofs and to show several new constructions. We also raise two open problems.
